About us

Hello Line Dancers of Winnipeg! 

We'd like to introduce ourselves: We’re Cameron and Ashlyn, two best friends who have known each other for over 22 years. We each discovered our love of line dancing on our own, dancing in our living rooms, so we decided to take a class together. 

We started line dancing with Heather at St. Norbert in the Fall of 2024 after finding out about it from our pickleball pals (also at St Norbert) and we still look forward to her class every Thursday evening! We have also spent time dancing with Curtis at Westworth as well as with Deb at The Spike and at her socials at 1100 Pembina. 

You may know us from our inaugural event, The Boot Scoot & Stay Awhile Line Dance Event held in November 2025. We also have another event coming up in May, once again in collaboration with Tiffany and Curtis! We hope these events will help bring our community together and give us all a chance to showcase the various dances that all the instructors have been teaching throughout the winter! 

In addition to these larger dance events, we plan to offer some smaller workshops in the coming months. We look forward to collaborating with other instructors and helping dancers from Winnipeg and surrounding areas have a place to get together and dance!!
